What this site is, how it is moderated, and how to get something taken down.
First-hand accounts of ordinary bad behaviour, in the submitter's own words, presented as their opinion and experience. We do not investigate, verify or endorse submissions, and readers should not treat them as findings of fact.
Every submission enters a review queue and is read by a person before any decision. Most of what gets declined is declined for being unverifiable, identifying, or simply cruel rather than interesting. We would rather publish ten fewer stories than one that ruins someone over nothing.
If you are written about here, you have an unconditional right of reply. Send your response to [email protected] and we will publish it directly beneath the story, unedited, or remove the story entirely — your choice. We aim to respond within a few days.
We remove on request from the person written about. We do not require a lawyer, a court order, or a reason. We never charge for removal — sites that do are running a different business, and it is the exact behaviour this one exists to mock.
You keep ownership of your words and grant us permission to publish them. Email addresses are never published and are used only to check a detail before publishing. You can withdraw a story at any time.
